Viv Richards Falls Sick During The Pre-Game Show Ahead Of The Second Test Between India And West Indies

West Indies have won the toss and elected to field first in the second and final Test against India as they look they level terms in the series. Meanwhile, ahead of the toss, legendary cricketer Viv Richards fell sick while doing the pre-game show alongside Graeme Swann and Ajay Jadeja.

The Asian Giants produced a thorough effort in the first match with each player contributing to the team’s success. While Ajinkya Rahane and Hanuma Vihari stood out in the batting front, Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah lifted the bowling unit. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli also had a fair outing alongside Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami.

It will take a herculean effort from West Indies to register the unthinkable considering India’s high confidence. Besides, their batting will also have to step up who has let them down in all the recent matches since the World Cup. Meanwhile, Indian openers – Mayank Agarwal and Kl Rahul have started strong securing eight runs from the first over of Kemar Roach.

The openers will have to survive the new ball as India will look to take a firm grip on the opening session of the second Test. Just minutes ahead of the game, West Indies legend Viv Richards fell sick while attending a pre-game show. He was accompanied by former England cricketer Graeme Swann and India’s Ajay Jadeja.

It was extremely hot at the Sabina Park in Jamaica which was the reason behind Richard’s illness. Initially, a stretcher was brought to take him to the stands, but later on, the former cricketer walked by himself to the dressing room.  Swann and Jadeja carried on with the show ahead of the match.
