The former legendary West Indies batsman Sir Vivian Richards has revealed his favourite batsman of the modern game. Richards who had revolutionized the game with his blistering approach also picked Sachin Tendulkar over his countryman player Brian Lara.

Meanwhile, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, England Test captain Joe Root, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and former Australian captain Steve Smith are the best batsman in the game. However, Vivian Richards selected Virat Kohli as his favourite modern day batsman.
