The way Steve Smith has started his home season, the signs are not at all promising for Team India. India and Australia have played just two ODIs so far but if Steve Smith’s form in those two games is anything to go by, then one can say the Indian bowlers are set for a tough time Down Under.

The former Australia skipper has looked in ominous form so far. In both the ODIs, he scored 62-ball hundreds to power his team to thumping wins over the Men in Blue. In the first ODI, Australia won by 66 runs after scoring a mammoth total of 374 for 6. Smith had scored 105 runs in that game.

In the second ODI, he scored 104 as Australia piled up a record 389 for 4 before restricting India to 338 for 9 to seal the three-match series with a match to go. Not a single Indian bowler managed to trouble the right-handed batsman as he took them to the cleaners.

Wasim Jaffer’s offer for Steve Smith:

With India failing to find success against Steve Smith in the first two ODIs, their former batsman Wasim Jaffer has come up with a hilarious strategy to help the team. To make sure that Steve Smith does not play in the upcoming four-match Test series, Wasim Jaffer has offered a vacation in Hawaii to him.

Wasim Jaffer, who has been posting hilarious memes on Twitter in recent times, posted the following picture:

Meanwhile, Steve Smith has now scored 209 runs in the ongoing series at a strike rate of 162.01. The only player in history to score more runs at a faster rate in an ODI series against India, was Shahid Afridi in 2005. Afridi had scored 211 runs at a strike rate of 172.95. In his last five ODI’s against India, Smith has scored- 69(70), 98(102), 131(132), 105(66), 50*(38).
