Wasn't Aware of my Wife first Marriage: Mohammad Shami

Indian pacer Mohammad Shami has claimed that he wasn’t aware of his wife’s first marriage. Meanwhile, Shami’s cricketing career has received a significant blow after his wife brought an array of allegations.
Hasin Jahan, Shami’s wife, has charged him with domestic violence and extra-marital affairs. In a series of claims made by her last week, Jahan claimed that Shami has fixed matches. She also filed a written complaint against Shami.
Kolkata Police under various non-bailable and bailable sections of the IPC, including Section 498A, which deals with cruelty to a woman by her husband or his relatives, Section 307 – attempt to murder, Section 323 – punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376 – rape, Section 506 – criminal intimidation, Section 328 and Section 34.
Previously, Shami has dismissed all the allegations and said it is a conspiracy against him.
Wasn’t aware of her first husband:
In an exciting claim, Shami admitted that he was not aware of his wife’s first husband. Further, Shami claimed that Jahan had told him that her two daughters from her first marriage were her sister’s children.
“I was not aware that it was her second marriage with me and it was only after we got married that I was told about two of my (step) daughters,” Shami said to India News.
Shami seemed worried about his daughter’s future. He also admitted compromising for the well being oh his young daughter.
“I have been trying hard for a compromise. I have been trying to call her to settle the matter but she has accused me of threatening her. My daughter’s future worries me,” he added.
Supreme Court appointed CoA asked BCCI to investigate the charge labelled against Shami. The CoA, led by Vinod Rai, has given a seven-day deadline to BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) head Neeraj Kumar to submit the report on the issue.
