Watch 22-year-old Pramod Gowda Dismiss Rohit Sharma in the Nets

There is no dearth of talent for Team India in the game of cricket. On a regular basis, we see someone or the other making the sound with his/her incredible talent. However, the improper exposure will always play a villain role to their talent. The latest to join that list is Pramod Gowda, who castled the off-stump of Rohit Sharma in the net session.

Ahead of Asia Cup 2018, Team India practised in Bangalore, where a leg-spinner surprised one and all. Despite the incident is old, the video is now making rounds in the social media. It displayed, Rohit Sharma defending a couple of balls and the third ball pegged away to take his off-stump.

Want to bowl to Virat Kohli – Pramod Gowda

Pramod’s action looks pretty similar to Rashid Khan and will be tricky to pick him on the first go. Speaking of the wicket, Pramod added he has bagged the wicket of Rohit Sharma for many times during the net session.

Further, Gowda quoted he would like to bowl to Virat Kohli. He feels Kohli would like his bowling and help him to get the opportunities. Pramod isn’t attending any camp and he is learning the tricks on his own.

“Rohit Bhai told he would help after he comes back from Asia Cup. I think I’ve bowled to all Indian players except Virat Kohli which I’m eagerly waiting for because I’m pretty sure he will like it. I started at the age of 12 and played until I turned 16 years old and then had to give up due to studies. Again, I started playing last year. I don’t go for any coaching camps but practice on my own. Every day I practice for 2-3 hours, irrespective of the opportunities I’ve got,” the leg-spinner quoted.

“It was nothing different for me, as it’s not about to whom I bowl, it’s only abt those good deliveries. If I bowl good deliveries any one might get out. I have got Rohit out many times,” Pramod quoted while speaking to Crictracker.

Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for the youngster. It seems like youngster has got the required ingredients in him to deliver if given chance on the big stage.
