Gone are those days when you witnessed certain players dominating the game across formats. However, in the contemporary world, we have got only one person, who is dealing with all the forms of the game with his sheer brilliance. The quality batsman has floored the cricketing world with his incredible consistency. Meanwhile, the Australian Cricketers speaks on world’s best batsman, Virat Kohli.
King Kohli is the Greatest
Recently, the India skipper had knocked 10,000 ODI runs tally in international cricket, and he is the quickest to do that as well. He displaced Sachin Tendulkar from the number one position on the table with a fair distance.
Virat Kohli not only became the quickest to reach the tally but also surpassed quite a few records on his way. During the course, Kohli also knocked 37th ODI century of his career and now is on the hunt to break Sachin’s record of most number of ODI centuries.

The run-machine of India managed to garner as many as 10,076 runs at an astounding average of 59.62. He knocked it at a strike rate of 92.85. Coming to milestones, he bagged as many as 37 centuries and scored 48 fifties as well.
Meanwhile, in a quick interview, Channel 7 of Australia asked a few of their players to name the best batsman in the modern cricketing world. At the drop of a hat, they chose Virat Kohli for his incredible consistency across the formats.

The legendary Ricky Ponting quoted saying it would be Virat Kohli, as he got the incredible skills to play in every format of the game. Meanwhile, skipper of Men and Women cricket, Tim Paine and Meg Lanning also picked Virat Kohli for the same reason.
“Best player in the world right now, in my opinion, is Virat Kohli. Just his all-around skills across all three formats,” former Australia captain Ricky Ponting said.
Besides, Ricky Ponting, Elyse Villani, Justin Langer, Brad Hodge, Andy Maher, Tim Paine and Meg Lanning were asked to answer the World’s best batsman in the current generation of players.
