It looks like the fans wait outside the Sharjah Cricket Stadium every time an IPL game takes place at the venue in order to collect the balls. The Sharjah Cricket Stadium is the smallest venue among the 3 in this year’s IPL and thus the balls are regularly landing up on the main road outside the venue.
And more often than not, the fans outside the stadium have been seen collecting those balls. The ongoing match between SunRisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians also saw one such incident when Quinton de Kock sent the ball out of the stadium.

Quinton de Kock, nonetheless, could not last long. After hitting another six on the following delivery, he was castled by Sandeep on the fourth ball of the over. The wicketkeeper-batsman returned to the pavilion after scoring 25 off just 13 balls. As far as the match is concerned, Mumbai Indians were on 105 for 5 in the 16th over at the time of compiling this report.
The ongoing clash is a must-win one for SRH. A win will send them to the playoffs while a defeat will send them packing. Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have sealed the spot in the playoffs and will finish the league stage as the top-ranked side. They will take on Delhi Capitals in the first qualifier on Thursday.
