West India star Dwayne Bravo put on sizzling batting display for Trinbago Knight Riders against St Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean Premier League.

Dwayne Bravo once again made it clear why he is one of the most sought after players in T20 leagues across the globe. The allrounder blew away the Patriots with a six-hitting masterclass. Young bowler Alzarri Joseph faced the wrath of a red-hot Bravo as the latter hit him for five consecutive sixes.

Bravo came out to bat in the 17th over of the match with Colin Munro nearing his half-century on the other end. He took just eleven balls to smash 37 runs to help the Knight Riders post a staggering 199/4 in their 20 overs.

Bravo shifted gears in the 19th over of the game. He missed an attempted pull shot from the first ball of the 19th over but there was no looking back since then. The next five deliveries were deposited in the stand without much trouble. Munro then provided the final flourish by hitting 18 more runs from the final six balls to finish unbeaten on 76.

Due to Bravo and Munro’s blitz, the Knight Riders added 48 from the final two overs to finish on a high.

The Knight Riders now lead the points-table with 5 wins in seven games. Jamaica Tallawahs and Guyana Amazon Warriors are also on the same point but trail the Knight Riders on net run-rate.

An avid cricket lover, I just love this game more than anything. Writing about cricket keeps me closer to the game.
