Dwayne Johnson The Rock
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

After carving his place in every World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and a movie fan, WWE wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson is looking all set to rule the world of cricket.

In a hilarious clip posted by Star Sports’ Twitter handle, the Hollywood star could be seen giving a shot to understanding the world of cricket for his millions of Indian fans, referring to the sport as the country’s ‘national obsession’.

Johnson, whose film ‘Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle’ will hit the cinema halls in India on December 29, began the video by saying he was going to deal with another ‘adventure’ to reciprocate the love of his amazing fans here.

To win over the cricket fans, Johnson tried his hand at understanding some of the umpire’s signals, and one can say his comments were nothing less than hilarious. It began when he tried to decode the signal when the official raised his finger to signal out, and in reply, he said:

“You are number one.

When told the correct answer, he urged his fans to bear with him. But that did not stop him from making the wildest of guesses. The next signal from the umpire was that of a third umpire, and in reply; the actor said:

“It is impossible to fit your handsomeness and sexiness into one box.”

The next sign was that of a no-ball to which he replied,

“Hey Rock, your millions and millions of your India fans are that way (while giving the signal).”

When the umpire raised both of his hands to signal a six, the American star said:

“Who loves The Rock? We do!”

Johnson then went on to play another game, ‘What’s it called with Dwayne Johnson?’ and surprisingly he answered all the questions correctly. The actor was MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot, the ramp shot and a slow bouncer delivery, and he was spot on while guessing all the three.
