Rain delays in England have become a regular affair for cricket fans. Rarely a Test match in England is completed without rain delays. The rain delays might be annoying for the fans but England’s stars seem to be enjoying it. Joe Root and his men have found an interesting activity to keep themselves busy during rain breaks.
During the first day of the ongoing first Test against Pakistan in Manchester, England players were seen playing with a football as they took the bin challenge and one can say that they aced it. In the bin challenge, the players keep heading the football before putting it inside a target, usually a bin.
The England players managed to complete an impressive 8 touches before Mark Wood dropped the ball into the bin.The header challenge was started by James Anderson who was standing on the balcony alongside Joe Root and Chris Woakes. He headed the ball to Root who headed it to Woakes who headed it down to Wood who was standing behind the advertisement boards along with Ollie Pope and Zak Crawley.
Wood stunning headed the ball towards Jos Buttler who was standing inside the boundary before the England wicketkeeper headed it towards Crawley. And after two more touches from Pope and Wood, the ball ended up in the bin.
Here is the clip of that stunning piece of skills from the England players:
