Steve Smith is hogging all the limelight at the moment and definitely for all the right reasons. The former Australia skipper has hit the ground running after making his comeback to Tests following the one-year ban. In his comeback Test which was the first Ashes Test at Edgbaston, Smith scored century in both the innings.

Australia went on win the Test by 251 runs thanks to Smith’s heroics. Smith had bagged the Man of the Match award for his superb twin knocks. At the same time, Smith is garnering attention for his weird technique. His leaves on day three of the ongoing second Ashes Test had left the entire cricketing fratnerity in stitches.

Smith came out with new ways to leave balls outside the off-stump. On the third day which saw only 24.1 overs being bowled, he provided the crowd with some much-needed entertainment with his unorthodox and unique style of leaving the balls. While shouldering arms to the England pacers, he hopped, got his bat across and even turned behind to leave everyone in splits.

Well, England star Tammy Beaumont tried her hands at Steve Smith’s trademark leaves and the result was hilarious. Danielle Wyatt took to Twitter to post the video and one can say that it was very hilarious.

Steve Smith, meanwhile, played another brilliant knock in the ongoing Test, scoring 92 at Lord’s. It was his knock that helped Australia post 250 in reply to England’s first innings total of 258. Prior to his dismissal. Smith had received a severe blow on his neck from a Jofra Archer bouncer. Smith had to walk off the field but he showed remarkable bravery and came out to bat soon.
