While cricket is called a gentleman’s game, there have been numerous instances in the recent past that had tarnished its image.

When the pioneers of the game began playing it, they made it clear that cricket would be played in ‘a gentlemanly manner’, which means no sledging, cheating, temper or any other type of behaviour which would harm the game’s reputation would be accepted. The onus was put on the players to maintain the sanctity of the game.

But while there is no denying the players try their best to behave in a gentlemanly manner on the cricket field, sometimes they lose their cool which leads to ugly scenes.

Well, a video, which is going viral across the social media, has emerged that shows former India spinner Pragyan Ojha losing his cool and taking his frustration out on the stumps. Looking at the video one can assume that it was the last ball of a tight match in which the opposition batsman hit a full-toss from Ojha for a boundary to take his team home.

Ojha, who recently switched his Ranji Trophy side from Bengal to Hyderabad, last played for India in 2013 when the MS Dhoni-led side hosted West Indies for a two-match Test series. Since then, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin have led the spin department.
