Virat Kohli could not have asked for a better start to the tour of New Zealand. On Sunday, India beat New Zealand by seven runs in the fifth and final T20I to win the clean sweep the five-match series. In the process, Virat Kohli became the first India captain to win a T20I series in New Zealand. He also became the first Indian captain to lead the team to a whitewash win in T20Is over the Black Caps.

On Sunday, Virat Kohli was rested but it did not stop India from winning the match. Rohit Sharma was named the captain but he too could not come out to field after suffering a calf injury during his 60-run knock. KL Rahul then took charge of the team and guided the team to a thrilling seven-run win.

Batting first, India posted 163 for 3 in the allotted 20 overs. Rohit Sharma top-scored for the hosts, scoring 60 before retiring hurt. In reply, New Zealand ended up on 156 for 9. The Black Caps were off to a disastrous start as they were reduced to 17 for 3.

However, a 99-run stand between Tim Seifert and Ross Taylor put them in a strong position before they suffered an almighty collapse to end up on 156 for 9. Both Taylor and Seifert scored fifties but their efforts were not enough to ensure a win for the side.

The Indian fans would have been extremely happy with the way Team India performed in the T20I series. The fans came out in huge numbers throughout the series to support India and the Men in Blue did not disappoint them. The fans also enjoyed their outings in the stadium and a video that is going viral on the internet pretty much proves that.

The video is from the fourth T20I in Wellington. As Virat Kohli was leading his team off the field, few fans decided to have some fun and they started chanting ‘Anushka Bhabhi Zindabaad’. The fans perhaps tried to catch Kohli’s attention but it did not happen as the India skipper walked into the dressing room straightaway.
