England pace spearhead James Anderson took a nasty hit on his face while playing a round of golf with his England teammate Stuart Broad.

Fresh off the thrilling win in the first Test against India at Edgbaston, James Anderson decided to celebrate the occasion by playing some golf.

The right-arm pacerΒ must have thought of having a good time on the golf course and would have been hoping for an enjoyable round in the sun with Stuart Broad. However, the day ended on a disastrous note for James Anderson.

The world number one Test bowler ended up hitting himself with the ball while attempting a shot. The golf ball appeared to hit a tree stump before smashing him powerfully in the face from close range after he took a big shot.
