Kartik Tyagi is looking like a serious talent. The India U19 pacer has impressed one and all with his performances in the ongoing ICC U19 World Cup. On Tuesday, he showed his talent once again by bowling a gem of a delivery to castle Pakistan’s Irfan Khan in the semifinal.

After being reduced to 146 for 5 in the 35th over, Pakistan were looking to rebuild their innings with their skipper Rohail Nazir well set. But before Rohail and Irfan Khan could stitch together a big stand, India skipper Priyam Garg recalled Kartik Tyagi and the move paid off.

On just his second delivery, Kartik Tyagi struck with a stunning delivery to send back Irfan. It was another stunning inswinging delivery from the right-arm pacer which left Irfan clueless. The ball pitched at the base of the off stump and Irfan was beaten for pace. He could not bring his bat down in time and the ball went on to uproot his off-stump.

India’s bowlers, meanwhile, came up with an impressive display to bowl out Pakistan for a modest total of 172. Pakistan’s decision to bat first after winning the toss could not be justified by their batsmen. Apart from Rohail, opening batsman Haider Ali scored a fifty too but the other batsmen failed to get going as Pakistan were all out for a below par total.

Other than Rohail and Haider, only Mohammad Haris managed to cross the double-digit mark with the bat. For India, Sushant Mishra picked up three wickets while Kartik Tyagi and Bishnoi picked up two wickets each.

Here is the video of that delivery from Kartik Tyagi:
