KL Rahul can do nothing wrong at the moment. No matter what role he is given right now, he is acing each one of them. For the time being, the star batsman is donning the wicketkeeping gloves and has done a stunning job so far. Rahul was given the wicketkeeping duties when Rishabh Pant suffered a concussion during the first ODI against Australia and impressed straightaway.

Since then, he has been keeping the wickets and the move has paid rich dividends so far. On Sunday, KL Rahul gave yet another example of just how good a wicketkeeper he is by effecting a stunning run-out to dismiss Tom Bruce for a duck. On the second ball of the fourth over, KL Rahul caught Tom Bruce short with his impressive effort.

Navdeep Saini bowled one at the off stump to Tim Seifert who drove the ball to Sanju Samson towards cover. Seifert went for the non-existing run and Tom Bruce paid the price for it with his second successive duck. Samson caught the ball but had no one to throw to at the striker’s end.

KL Rahul then came charging in and seeing that Samson threw the ball. KL Rahul collected the ball brilliantly before diving to catch Bruce short of his crease.
