Dwayne Bravo, the all-rounder from Windies, never shy away from taking the limelight, and once again showed the Boland Park crowd his dance moves after the Paarl Rocks qualified for the Mzansi Super League (MSL) playoffs on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Rocks beat the Nelson Mandela Bay Giants by six wickets to book their place in the semi-finals against the Jozi Stars. Dwayne Bravo may have made a second-ball duck in the run chase, but that did not dent his spirit at all. ‘DJ’ Bravo, as he calls himself, jumped up onto a pitch-side stage and began dancing with the Paarl Rocks fans.
The 25-year-old was joined by team-mate and former Proteas T20I wicketkeeper Mangaliso Mosehle as the pair celebrated their win.

The Paarl Rocks with 22 points they have made the third spot in the points table, their own. Which means the next match between Tshwane Spartans and Durban Heat will be a dead-rubber. A perfect team effort by the Rocks though. Their bowlers were right on the money and then it was Cameron Delport’s knock that proved to be the knockout punch. It was happy scenes all round in their camp, and they’re thanking the home crowd with a victory lap as they made it to the playoffs.
