WATCH: MS Dhoni Sets New Record With His Lightning-Fast Stumping Against Windies

India star MS Dhoni might be having a tough time with the bat but there is absolutely no stopping him in the gloves behind the stumps. In the third One-Day International, his diving catch while running backwards to dismiss Chandrapaul Hemraj was a firm reminder that the 37-year is still one of the best in business behind the stumps.
And just a couple of days after that stunning effort, he set a new record with his lightning-quick stumping in the fourth ODI against the Windies. India thrashed the visitors by 224 runs and one of the highlights of the game was Dhoni’s lighting-fast work behind the stumps to get rid of Keemo Paul. And it took MS Dhoni only 0.08 seconds to affect the stumping as he bettered his own record of fastest stumping.
The stumping took place in the 28th over. Ravindra Jadeja bowled a beautiful away turner which Keemo Paul failed to cover as he tried to push the ball forward. And even before Paul could blink his eyes, Dhoni had dislodged the bails in a flash. The stumping was so quick that even Jadeja looked shocked while Paul did not even wait for the umpire’s decision and started walking.
Dhoni’s previous fastest stumping came in 0.19 seconds which he effected against Australian George Bailey at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Quickest stumping & That precious smile?…
If there is anything faster than the speed of light in this world, it should be DHONI's stumping?#Dhoni #INDvWI pic.twitter.com/D87rTTjcWu

Meanwhile, India thrashed Windies by 224 runs to take an unassailable 2-1 lead in the four match series. Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu starred with the bat, scoring centuries to guide the team to a mammoth total of 377 for 5 in the allotted overs.
In reply, Windies never looked in contention to even challenge the score let alone chasing it down. Even before they could cross the 50-run mark, they were five down with their two top-scorers of the series Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer back in the hut. Skipper Jason Holder then played a fine unbeaten knock of 54 to help his side cross the 100-run mark before the Caribbean outfit was all for 153.
