Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are two of the mavericks of Indian cricket. Both these men have known to be the face of Indian cricket for the last decade. These two have certainly been the best batsmen not only in Indian cricket, but have made a mark in world cricket with the sort of performance that they have put in the last 5 years.

However, both these players have been rumored to have had a massive rift between the two giants of world cricket. Reportedly, Rohit Sharma has distanced himself from Virat Kohli since the 2019 cricket world cup came to an end last year. Rohit Sharma carried the burden of the India National Cricket Team during the world cup and seemed to be unhappy when team India was knocked out of the world cup.

Now, once again, rumors of rift between both the giant cricketers has now resurfaced after the coin toss between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians on Matchday 10 of IPL 2020.

When both the skippers of RCB and MI took to the field for the coin toss, the two captains didn’t even look at each other on the field. We have seen how Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have interacted with the opposition skippers in IPL 2020 during the coin toss. However, there was no camaraderie on-show when Virat and Rohit met for the toss on Monday.

Virat and Rohit distanced each other from themselves and didn’t have a word with each other during the toss. They only spoke separately to Murali Kartik, who anchored the toss on behalf of the broadcasters

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to field first. Mumbai made one change in their team as they gave a maiden IPL 2020 cap to Ishan Kishan and left out Saurabh Tiwary. RCB, on the other hand, left out Joshua Phillipe, Umesh Yadav, and Dale Steyn and brought in Adam Zampa, Gurkeerat Singh Maan, and Isuru Udana.
