That why Mahendra Singh Dhoni is adored so much by the fans has once again become clear with a recent video showing how the former India skipper loves to enjoy with his fans.

The clip, which is going viral across social media, shows the World Cup-winning skipper rhythmically shaking his head while wearing a Santa cap after being cheered by the fans, as he was making his way to the dressing room following India’s win in the third T20 International against Sri Lanka in Mumbai.

Team India celebrated the five-wicket win as well as the series win over the Islanders on the Christmas eve by donning Santa caps and roaming around the Wankhede. However, the fans were looking more excited to see Dhoni in the red cap more than any other player, as the wicketkeeper-batsman was cheered on while he was leaving the field.

Dhoni also made sure to acknowledge the love and support by moving his head sideways, as if he was dancing.

Meanwhile, Dhoni will be next seen in action when Team India takes on South Africa in a six-match One-Day International series following the conclusion of the three-Test series which kick starts on January 5 in Cape Town.

The 36-year old, who had entered the series against Sri Lanka under severe pressure, has managed to ease the stress of himself and was recently backed by chief selector MSK Prasad and head coach Ravi Shastri to play at least till the 2019 World Cup.

“He is still one of the best around, not only in the Indian team but in the world. Some of the things you see with him are not sold in the market. You will not get it anywhere else,” Shastri recently said before adding: “The fact that he does not play Test cricket means he should be playing as much cricket as possible till the World Cup in 2019.”
