Watch: Suresh Raina Tags PM Narendra Modi As He Pays Heartwarming Tribute To Sushant Singh Rajput

Former India batsman Suresh Raina, on Monday, paid a heartwarming tribute to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant passed away in June in the most unfortunate of manners as he was found hanging at his residence. He was 34 at the time of death.

Sushant became a big name in India’s cricket fraternity after portraying the role of MS Dhoni in the former India skipper’s biopic – MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. His work was appreciated by one and all as he aced the role of the legendary cricketer. His untimely and unfortunate death shook the entire nation and it is safe to say that there are many who are still struggling to move on.

People from across the globe are paying tribute for the late actor and Suresh Raina also decided to do the same on Monday. The Chennai Super Kings star, who is currently in UAE for the upcoming IPL, took to Twitter to post a heartwarming tribute for the late actor.

In the video, one can see Sushant’s picture in on a tablet with a soulful song of the late actor’s movie Kedarnath playing in the background. Tagging PM Narendra Modi in the tweet, Suresh Raina wrote that he has full faith in the government as he hoped Sushant will get justice.

“Brother you will always be alive in our hearts, your fans miss you more than anything! I have full faith on our government & it’s leaders who will leave no stone unturned to bring you justice, you are a true inspiration!” wrote Suresh Raina.

At present, the CBI is investigating the case of the late actor’s death. Meanwhile, IPL 2020 will start on September 19 and Suresh Raina will be looking to hit the ground running. The left-handed batsman, who announced retirement from international cricket earlier this month, has not played any competitive game since last year’s IPL.
