Suryakumar Yadav, on Wednesday, not only showed his finishing abilities with the bat but also showed that he has a very cool head on his shoulder. The Mumbai Indians star responded to a sledging from Virat Kohli in style as he powered his team to a thumping six-wicket win.

Suryakumar Yadav scored an unbeaten 79 off just 43 balls to help Mumbai Indians chase down 165 with five balls to spare. His knock was studded with 10 fours and three sixes. Mumbai were reeling at 72 for 3 at one stage but Suryakumar Yadav remained till the end to take his side over the finishing line.

Coming to the incident, it took place on the final ball of the 13th over. After hitting Dale Steyn for a four on the previous delivery, the right-handed batsman hit the final ball of the over towards covers where Virat Kohli was standing. The RCB skipper fielded the ball and started to walk towards Suryakumar Yadav.

Kohli was staring straight at Suryakumar Yadav and the latter did not took his eyes off the RCB skipper either. The staring contest went on for a while as Kohli came and stood right next to the Mumbai Indians batsman before the latter decided to walk away without saying anything as he left the RCB skipper red-faced.

Kohli was definitely trying to get inside Surya’s skin but the latter managed to keep his calm and went on to do his job with the bat.
