The Indian National cricket team is currently preparing for their maiden day-night Test vs Bangladesh to be played at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata from November 22. As this will be the country’s first taste of the SG pink ball at the international level, the players are leaving no stone unturned before they step into the unknown on Friday.

However, the notable players, who skipped the session were skipper Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Besides the two stalwarts, the trio of Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav were also given a break after the first Test. Meanwhile, the rest of the team used the time to have intense training in the nets.

Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara hit nets:

The likes of Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant had started the batting session. As always, they had a brilliant session at Eden Gardens under the lights to order to go hard at Bangladesh in the upcoming Pink Ball Test. Later, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin took the guard to have their time in the nets.

All the support staff, comprising head coach Ravi Shastri, batting coach Vikram Rathour and fielding coach R Sridhar, were present at the stadium as the seven players were present in the practice session. So far, none of the players have faced any problem in facing the pink ball under lights.

The second and final Test match of the series is set to be played at iconic venue Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 22nd. The president of BCCI Sourav Ganguly has already made enough preparations to pull the crowd back to the stadium for the longer version of the game.

Coming to the match, the Indian National Cricket Team would like to bag a victory in order to seal yet another series, which will fall under the ICC World Test Championship. On the other hand, Bangladesh would like to make it a memorable tour by ending the trip with a win at Eden Gardens.
