India will be the firm favourites against West Indies in the upcoming T20I and ODI series. Both the teams will play three T20Is and as many ODIs this month. The T20I series will start on December 6 in Hyderabad. The Men in Blue have thoroughly dominated West Indies in recent years. In the most recent meeting between the two sides, India had completely outplayed West Indies.

Both the teams had locked horns against each in the Caribbeans right after the end of the World Cup. They played three T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests and India won all of them but the one ODI which was washed out. No surprises then that West Indies would find it even tougher to beat India in their own backyard.

But then again, the Caribbean outfit can never be taken lightly. They boast some of the best hitters in the world at the moment and can really spring a surprise or two in the upcoming series. Only time will tell whether the hosts live up to the expectations or the visitors finally register some much-needed victory.

The players were seen doing a unique running drill in the training session to prepare themselves for the first T20I.

With a piece of cloth hanging behind them, the players waited for Sridhar’s instructions before sprinting.  The likes of Sanju Samson, Mohammed Shami and Washington Sundar were all seen taking part in the fitness. The video of the drill was posted on Indian Cricket Team’s Instagram page.
