Virat Kohli might look like the most animated and rudest character on the cricket field but he is a different person altogether whenever he is off the field. Time and again, his teammates as well as opposition players have said that Virat Kohli’s image off the field is completely different to what he looks like on the field.
The India skipper himself has proved that he is very compassionate. Who can forget his lovely gesture towards the elderly Indian fan during last year’s World Cup in England? After the end of the game, Virat Kohli had walked up to her, thanked her for supporting the team and even arranged for tickets for her.

Every now and then, one comes across video clips showing the cricket star obliging to fans for selfies and autographs. But recently, a girl did not have the same luck with Virat Kohli as the India batting mainstay turned down her request for a photograph. The world number one ODI batsman, in fact, did not even look towards her while she approached him for a selfie in the airport.
But the reason behind it could be that Virat Kohli was taking the necessary precaution against the coronavirus pandemic. He was wearing a mask when the girl approached him and straightaway walked past her without even looking at her.
Here is a clip of that incident:

Virat Kohli was perhaps travelling to Lucknow or was returning to his home after the ODI series against South Africa was called-off last week. After the first game in Dharamsala was washed out without a ball being bowled, the Indian team had traveled to Lucknow for the second game before the BCCI called-off the series. The BCCI has also suspended the IPL till April 15 due to the outbreak.
