South Africa dominated the morning session with overnight batsman Kagiso Rabada (30) scoring some valuable runs despite losing an early wicket of Dean Elgar.
South Africa went to lunch at 81 for three as Rabada departed minutes before the lunch.
However, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma started off well for India post lunch creating some close chances.
However, Virat Kohli missed an easy DRS off AB De Villiers as the Indian dressing room looked utterly disappointed.

It was a brilliant inswinger on a good length, de Villiers was caught on the crease, not fully forward in his defence, the bat got stuck behind the pad as de Villiers tried to defend. The height was the only question with impact on middle and off, enough doubt for the on-field umpire to say not out, but ball-tracker shows the ball would have crashed into the top of leg stump.
Head coach Ravi Shastri was not happy in the dressing room, and Kohli drops his head as he sees the replay on the big screen.
However, the missed opportunity didn’t hurt India much as Bhuvneshwar Kumar knocked de Villiers few overs later at the score of 5.
