As if the pandemic was not enough, the locust attack has further compounded the problems of the country. On Saturday, huge swarms of locust reached Gurgaon and covered large tracts of the region in Haryana. Several areas in Gurgaon saw swarms of locust covering the skies.

The entire city has been affected by the attack. Most parts of Gurgaon, including the plush residential complexes were covered by swarms of locust. Moments after the locusts covered the sky of the city, the residents took to social media to share pictures and videos.

Well, former India batsman Virender Sehwag also did the same. The legendary batsman took to Twitter to post a clip which showed a swarm of locusts flying above his house. Looking at the clip, one can easily say that the situation is really terrifying.

Here is the video shared by Virender Sehwag:

Last month, several areas in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra saw swarms of locusts descending on them amid their worst invasion in years.

Virender Sehwag, meanwhile, is one of the finest openers to have played the game. The legendary batsman brought down curtains on his illustrious career in 2015 although his last appearance for India came in 2013. He played 104 Tests and 251 ODIs for India, scoring 8586 runs at an average of 47.35 in the longest version and 8273 runs in the 50-over format. He was part of the teams that won the T20 World Cup in 2007 and 50-over World Cup in 2011.

Virender Sehwag was the first Indian to score a triple century in Tests and is so far the only Indian to have scored two triple centuries. He also has an ODI double century to his name.
