As soon as MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on Saturday, tributes started pouring from all corners. From cricketers, fans, actors to politicians, almost everyone congratulated MS Dhoni on a stellar career in international cricket.

Surprisingly, his former teammate Yuvraj Singh is yet to react publicly. Yuvraj Singh is very active on Twitter and other social media platforms but he is yet to congratulate his former teammate. Well, news outlet Zee News decided to get in touch with him soon after Dhoni’s retirement.

They called him on his phone to get his reaction on Dhoni’s retirement but were left red-faced when the person from the other side of the call reacted. The person on the other side of the call was not Yuvraj Singh and he used the opportunity to hilariously taunt the news channel.

“Yuvraj Singh is also with us. Yuvraj, this is a very emotional moment. One of world’s greatest cricketers has said goodbye to the game,” said the news anchor.

And the response from the other side was completely hilarious as the man replied: “I am not Yuvraj Singh. You have called the wrong person. He then started laughing hilariously.

The most decorated skipper in the history of Indian cricket, MS Dhoni led India to glory in the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy. Till date, he is the only captain to have won all the ICC tournaments. Under him, India also rose to the top of the ICC Test rankings for the very first time.

The 39-year old, who finished with 10,773 runs at an average of 50.57 in ODIs, is the fifth Indian to surpass the 10,000-run mark in the 50-over format. In T20Is, he played 98 games, scoring 1617 runs at a strike rate of 126.13.

MS Dhoni will be seen in action next when the IPL starts next month. The Chennai Super Kings landed in Chennai on Friday and is currently attending a pre-season camp. The team will leave for UAE on August 21. IPL 2020 starts on September 19 while the final is scheduled to take place on November 10.
