TogglePace sensation Jofra Archer has rung many eyeballs early in his career across the formats. He was terrific in England’s World Cup-winning campaign and subsequently in the Ashes. But Eoin Morgan, England’s limited-overs skipper, feels the best of Archer is yet to come.
The Barbados-born fast bowler made the headlines playing in various T20 leagues and for Sussex. He made his international debut prior to the World Cup and surprised one and all in the premier competition. Jofra Archer returned with 20 wickets; the most by an Englishmen.

He was also in his best in the recently concluded Ashes claiming 22 wickets at an average of 20.27. He bowled at a consistent pace to hurry up the batters and has also given nightmares to the batsmen from the opposition camps. But Jofra Archer’s skipper Eoin Morgan feels that best is yet to come from the fast bowler.

“I think it is fantastic. Jofra is very exciting to watch and he bowls fast and has an X-factor. He can bowl in any format of the game and any circumstances and to any plan,” Morgan said. “Every obstacle that is being put in front of him, he overcame that. We haven’t seen the best of him, he still wants to learn all the time,” he added.

Following his spectacular stints for England, where he shifted his base in 2015, Jofra Archer has gained big in the recent England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) contracts. He also took a giant leap in the ICC Rankings and will hope to keep up his excellent run and bring more success to his country.
