We are not big in size but we hit big sixes – Rashid Khan
Speaking of the same, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan on Sunday said although they have ‘Afghani power’ to hit big shots, they will play smart cricket. Rashid Khan answered it when he was asked about their approach with the dimensions of the venue are pretty large.

Afghanistan skipper Rashid Khan said his side will look to play smart cricket during their ODI series against the West Indies even though their batsmen possess the ability to clear the ropes.
“We are not big in size but we hit big sixes. We have the Afghani power and this boundary will also be small for us. But we will have to play smart cricket and not focus much on big shots. Because on such big ground, you have to play smart cricket,” said Rashid Khan.

“We will not focus on how they are against the spin; we will play our best cricket and deliver our best bowling performance,” Rashid Khan said to the reporters.
The first match of the series will start on November 6th when Afghanistan and West Indies lock horns for the first ODI game. The match is scheduled to be played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium.
