As we are in the saddle to witness the much-anticipated battle in the ICC World Cup 2019, preparations are going on at full swing. Eventually, when it comes to Team India, they are in the middle of the England tour to understand the conditions there. The primary issue that strikes team is whether India should go with Mahendra Singh Dhoni or not?

The Men in Blue management would want to give ample time to their squad as the coveted event is scheduled to take place in the United Kingdom (UK).

By the way, there are many debatable woes in Team India’s dugout. From the opening slot to middle-order concerns, India needs to address it before the kickoff of the cricketing carnival.

The former skipper Dhoni did not have a good outing during the limited-overs tour of England. In the recent One-day International series against the Three Lions, we saw old-fashioned kind of his package.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is beyond the name:

Wicketkeeper-batsman and Jharkhand hero, Dhoni is one of the most successful captains of India. He served as the pillar of Indian team without any second opinion. Team India will look somewhat fragile after his absence.

Dhoni, who turns 37 recently whose defensive skills often get overshadowed. Amid blazing and quickfire skills, he is famous for his attacking mode that gets highly noticed among contemporary batsmen.

So much so, Dhoni’s athletic skills behind the stumps and presence of mind will prove fruitful for the young buds who are taking a leaf out of his book.

The antidote of Virat Kohli:

You need an antidote to the hotness and aggressive nature of Virat Kohli, who stands as a skipper now. Well, who can do justice to this role better than the ”Captain Cool’’ of Team India?

Kohli is growing as a skipper, and he needs some more time until he will groom thoroughly. When it comes to grooming the successors, there is no better option than Dhoni, who pat their back before celebrating alongside them.

Ergo, Dhoni can prove very significant to Team India when it comes to decision-making. So much so, when it comes to using the Decision Review System (DRS), Dhoni acts as a Hawkeye of that very particular timeline. And such has been his dominance.

Many cricket pundits and experts believe that the span of Dhoni is over now. Following his recent outings, he often gets criticized. It seems he has lost a little touch of agility, fitness and his power hitting abilities. But that is far and far from reality.

Subsequently, they think India has enough backup upon whom Team India can rely on during the upcoming World Cup. With the likes of Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant, many fans feel India needs to take a tough decision.

Magnanimous Mahendra Singh Dhoni:

However, after meeting the ground reality, it is unjust to drop MS Dhoni from the squad. Considering his abilities and passion for the game, he has been advocating himself. It will be pretty unfair, to say the least

India further needs to access the episode of flamboyant Virender Sehwag. After India dropped him from the squad, they are still in search of a batsman like him. From there on, India failed to find an impactful opener who can fill the void.

Although he is not unfit, and him being Mahendra Singh Dhoni — is enough to allow him to stay in a Team India, in a bid to witness his former wards lifting the coveted trophy.

Hence, from our point, he is a confirmed passenger to board the flight for the next year’s tournament in England and Wales.
