After going down 2-0 in the two-match Test series, Bangladesh will look for sweet revenge in the One-day International series against hosts Windies. The visitors had lost the Test series following a no-show. Therefore, they would like to be more competitive in the white-ball format.

In fact, the tourists will hope that change in format brings the change in fortunes.

On the other hand, Windies will be happy to get back the services of their star all-rounder Andre Russell. The combative professional is in fine form. Thus, it would be a perfect opportunity for the home side to prepare their best World Cup squad.

In addition, Russell will be returning to the Windies squad after a gap of three long years.

Furthermore, it would be great for Windies if they can get back the duties of Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard. Meanwhile, Chris Gayle will also like to set the stage om fire, for the Carribean nation.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza has joined the squad. Therefore, the team’s confidence would be high as Mortaza had missed the Test series.

Both teams know that it would be a perfect opportunity to prepare themselves for the 2019 World Cup. Interestingly, Bangladesh will play their first ODI after a gap of seven months. Therefore, the tourists will like to be at the top of their game.

Bangladesh has shown an upward swing in their limited-overs game. Thus, they would be determined to tick the right boxes in the three-match ODI series against the Windies.

On the other hand, Windies will like to take confidence from their Test series triumph. Consequently, the hosts will like to make the most of their home conditions.
