India have secured the three-match T20I series against Windies after winning the rain-interrupted second T20I of this series on Sunday (4th August) at Lauderhill.

Indian captain Virat Kohli decided to bat first after winning the toss. India managed to score 167/5 in 20 overs. In the second innings, when Windies were battling on 98/4 in 15.3 overs, the rain stopped that game. While that game was never restarted, India won that match by 22 runs (DLS method) as the Windies had the 121 runs revised target.

With this victory, India have taken a 2-0 lead in this three-match T20I series, with one to go.

iii) Rohit Sharma scored 67 runs in this match which was his 21st 50+ scores in T20I career. Adding this innings, Rohit is the most 50+ scorer in T20I history. Virat Kohli is in the next position with 20 times 50+ scores in T20I career.
