With ICC World Cup 2019 around the corner, Indian selectors and analysts are worried about the fitness of the players, who will play in the Indian Premier League 2019. Meanwhile, the Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar quoted that they will take care of the things as per the demand of the situation during the tournament.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad, has always been a crucial player for them. He is a match-winner for the team, who always gave his best shot. Despite that, Kumar believes that franchise will draw a line for them to stay fit.

“Yes, it (World Cup) is there on our minds but we’ll look after (our fitness) in the second half of IPL,” replied Bhuvneshwar, making it clear that it will also be a prerogative of the players and their discussions with franchises.

World Cup is very important –

Further, he expressed his confidence in the franchise owners that they would rest their players in the best interests of the nation. However, he also admitted that the chances to qualify for the playoffs are something, which matters the most for the team owners.

“There isn’t a surety for anything. Yes, there is something which is mind, if I feel that I am tired, then we can take rest. So, of course, it up to the franchise. I am sure they will cooperate with each and every player because WC is a very important thing for us and BCCI may also talk to them,” he said, adding that it is for “every player playing World Cup”.

Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for the players in the Indian Premier League 2019. Most probably, the board of control for cricket in India and IPL franchise owners would involve in a meeting ahead of the tournament.
