The domestic T20 tournament of Australia popularly known as the Big Bash League is in full swing and all the franchises are sweating it out and competing very hard on the field. All the teams are more or less evenly matched and more often than not we have seen some exciting and nail-biting finishes all through the tournament.
However, the event has also witnessed several funny moments which have made the league a very popular one. One such strange incident was on display on Friday when the Perth Scorchers were facing the Brisbane Heat.
It was during one match when Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah who is arguably the best leg spinner especially in the longest format of the game currently fielded a ball pretty nicely, but his return throw went haywire. Yasir who stopped the ball in an attempt to throw the ball towards the wicket-keeper but it hit captain Brendon McCullum on the head. Thankfully the throw didn’t have any pace on it, and both players laughed it off.
The duo also represents the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash while the duo also shares the same dressing room in the Pakistan Super League with both playing for the Lahore Qalandars. Baz has retired from international cricket but still is a tough force to reckon with especially in the shortest formats of the game.
