The India National Cricket Team might have lost the Vizag T20I, Jasprit Bumrah got lauded for his exceptional death bowling skills. In the match, where Australia needed 16 off last two overs, Bumrah conceded a mere two runs and picked two wickets in addition to it. What stood out was the way he had bowled – kept it on wickets and didn’t give room for the batsmen to hit. Meanwhile, Ajay Jadeja, speaking on Cricbuzz post the match showered high praises on him. He said there is no other bowler like Jasprit Bumrah in world cricket.

The rise of Jasprit Bumrah!

Ajay Jadeja added when Bumrah had arrived on the scene in 2016 the world knew he was special. What Bumrah brought on the table was something different – sling action, deadly yorker and ability to keep the batsmen guessing at the death overs with his slower ones. IPL has to be given some credit, as it was during that span when the pacer hogged the limelight. Plying his trade for Mumbai Indians for over three years now, Jasprit had mastered the art of bowling well in the fag end of an innings.

During the Vizag T20I against Australia, the Gujarat pacer bowled 18 dot balls in his four-over spell and gave away 16 runs. Apart from picking the two batsmen in the 19th over, Bumrah had trapped Finch on a first-ball duck inside the PP.
