Yuvraj Singh has quashed all the detractors who had criticized the National Cricket Academy recently due to some of the facilities. However, Yuvi had a totally different opinion on the NCA. He stated that it was NCA which always helps the injured cricketers come back stronger giving the best physios and trainers available in the country.
“Hearing criticisms abt NCA. I wud like to share my experience that the reason why I was able to bounce back after cancer was the national cricket academy a great facility created by @bcci to help players recover from injuries with the help of best Physios & trainers in the country.” Yuvraj wrote on his Twitter handle.

The NCA at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru was the brainchild of Raj Singh Singh Dungarpur. It has been the budding ground for young cricketers. The BCCI have trained the young cricketers in the academy who had or have the talent to represent the national team in the future. Meanwhile coming back to Yuvraj Singh, he is out of contention for the national team after a few horrendous months with the bat.
Yuvraj’s downfall in the recent past
The touch has almost gone and it was hard to find Yuvraj in that frame of mind during the Indian Premier League. He failed to make a mark in any of the matches and was quite ordinary. He has made several exceptional comebacks in the past. However, the scenario doesn’t seem a possibility for now. However, nothing can be a guarantee with a fighter like Yuvraj.
The southpaw has always been one of the most stylish batsmen the world has seen. He has always been a treat to watch. It was not long back that he made a sensational return to ODI cricket. He smashed his highest ODI score against England in early 2017. He blazed his way to 151 during an exhibition of strokeplay by the left-hander.
