Talking about Yuvraj’s career, one can say that it is pretty much derailed at the moment. The veteran batsman has looked out of sorts in recent times. After being recalled to the ODI last year, he lost his place after a string of poor performances. His last appearance for India came during the tour of Caribbeans in 2017.

There were hopes that the southpaw would regain his old mojo while representing his first IPL team Kings XI Punjab in the ongoing season. However, the 36-year is having a disastrous outing this season. In six game, he could score only 50 runs with 20 being the highest score. Not surprisingly, he was soon dropped from the playing eleven.

With doubts increasing over his ability after every passing game, he recently said that he would take a call on his career only after the next year’s World Cup.

“I am going to look to play till 2019, whatever cricket I get to play. I will take a call when that year is over,” Yuvraj told ANI.

“Everybody has to take a decision after a while. I have been playing international cricket since 2000, it has been almost 17-18 years on and off. So, I will definitely take a call after 2019,” he added.
