Former India batsman Yuvraj Singh, on Wednesday, posted a heartwarming tweet for Stuart Broad after the England star crossed the 500 wicket-mark in Test cricket. The right-arm pacer achieved the incredible feat in the third and final Test against West Indies.

Stuart Broad became just the seventh man to take 500 Test wickets after his compatriot James Anderson, Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne, Anil Kumble, Glenn McGrath and Courtney Walsh. The pacer starred with the ball as England thrashed West Indies by 269 runs to win the three-match series 2-1.

Stuart Broad had bagged 6 for 31 in the first innings before picking up four in the second innings. He took his 500th wicket when he trapped Kraigg Brathwaite plumb lbw. He then went on to pick another wicket to finish the game with 501 wickets to his name.

The tributes have been pouring in from across the cricketing world for Stuart Board and Yuvraj Singh also joined the bandwagon. The India legend took to Twitter to lavish praise on the England pacer in his own style.

He mentioned how people always relate Broad to getting hit for six sixes by him whenever he talks about the pacer before urging his fans to applaud the England legend for his achievement. Yuvraj Singh had famously hit a young Stuart Broad for six sixes in an over during the T20 World Cup in 2007.

Calling Broad a legend, Yuvraj Singh tweeted:

“I’m sure everytime I write something about @StuartBroad8, people relate to him getting hit for 6 sixes! Today I request all my fans to applaud what he has achieved! 500 test wickets is no joke-it takes hard work, dedication & determination. Broady you’re a legend! Hats off ????.”
