India’s leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has said that he is sick and tired of the lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus outbreak and will not return home for a long time once the lockdown is over. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic sent India into a nationwide lockdown from March 25 for 21 days.
However, as things seem to worsen with days passing by, the lockdown seems nothing but extended even more. The cricketing spectrum has also suffered a great deal due to this and the carnival of cricket in India; the Indian Premier League (IPL) has also been postponed until April 15.

IPL 2020 was scheduled to start from March 29 but due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the BCCI postponed it until April 15.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is now looking at the October-November window for the IPL. But the move can be possible only if the ICC decides to postpone the men’s T20 World Cup that is to be held later in the year, according to some sources in the board.
On Friday, some fresh reports arose suggesting that the BCCI is probing into the July window to conduct the IPL and it could take place behind closed doors.

The Haryana-born spinner revealed that he would go to the ground on very day lockdown is lifted and would bowl at least a ball there.

You will good when you go the ground, I miss bowling, I am what I am because of the cricket only. I will surely go and bowl at leat a ball on the day lockdown gets over,” he said.

When asked who he would like as his lockdown-partner, Chahal said he would be choosing Rohit Sharma and chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav.
“I will choose 2 guys, Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav. Lock me down for a month then.”
Yuzvendra added that he would not like to get in lockdown with pacer Jasprit Bumrah as he doesn’t speak anything.
