Royal Challengers Bangalore spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has posted a heartwarming message for MS Dhoni on his social media accounts. Yuzvendra Chahal was up against his former India teammate when Royal Challengers Bangalore locked horns against Chennai Super Kings in Dubai on Sunday.

CSK thrashed RCB by eight wickets to return to winning ways although later on Sunday, they became the first team to find themselves out of the playoffs race. With 4 wins from 12 games, CSK are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table.

Chasing 146, CSK crossed the finishing line with ease in the 19th over. Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad gave the side a good start by adding 46 runs off 30 balls before the former was sent back by Chris Morris for 25. Gaikwad and Ambati Rayudu then all but sealed the game for their side by adding 67 runs for the second wicket.

Yuzvendra Chahal broke the stand when he sent back Rayudu for 39. Gaikwad and MS Dhoni further ensured that CSK cross the line without any further hiccup by sharing an unbeaten stand of 37 runs. Gaikwad remained unbeaten on 65 off 51 balls while MS Dhoni scored 19.

Earlier in the game, CSK came up with a fine bowling display to restrict RCB to 145 for 6 after being asked to bowl first. Skipper Virat Kohli top-scored for the side, scoring 50 off 43 balls while AB de Villiers scored 39 off 36 balls. For CSK, Sam Curran starred with the ball, taking 3 for 19 off three overs.

Yuzvendra Chahal’s message for MS Dhoni:

The youngsters have made a habit of approaching MS Dhoni after the games in IPL to get some valuable tips. Earlier in the ongoing season, the CSK skipper was seen talking to players of others teams after the conclusion of the games. And on Sunday, Yuzvendra Chahal too decided to catch up with his former India teammate.

Later on Monday, Yuzvendra Chahal posted a photo of the interaction on the social media with a heartwarming caption, writing:

“Someone who guides me to the right path always…. Mahi bhai ?❤️”
