India’s young leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is making good use of this quarantine period. He seems to have caught the knack of coming up with funny and hilarious stuff on his social media, an attribute that Indian skipper Virat Kohli recently termed as ‘Clown-like’. Yuzvendra Chahal has become the new superstar on the internet, and people just don’t seem to end the trolls, which includes his national teammates as well.
Recently, India’s vice-captain in the limited-overs setup, Rohit Sharma, in an Instagram live session with arguably the world’s best fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, compared Yuzvendra Chahal to a funny Bollywood character and laughed off his antics that he keeps coming up with regularly through his social media platforms.

Rohit Sharma is often called as the ‘Hitman’ of cricket. His Indian teammates also call him ‘Ro-Hit’ because of his batting prowess. However, Yuzvendra Chahal, as hilarious as he is, has come up with a new nickname for the flamboyant Mumbaikar hitter.
Yuzvendra Chahal Gives Rohit Sharma A New Nickname
Recently, Chahal revealed how he addresses Rohit Sharma and shared the reason behind it, during an interactive session with Cricbuzz.
He said, “Ek hain senior cricketer, inhone Rohit Sharma ka naam likha tha a[ne phone pe ‘Rohita Sharma’. Toh wahan se phir jo unhone bataya, phir main tabse……..(There is one senior cricketer who had saved Rohit Sharma’s name in his phonebook as ‘Rohita’. So, when he revealed the same to me since then I’ve been calling him as Rohita).”

Indian teammates share great camaraderie among themselves, which is quite essential to enjoy the sport that requires a lot of dedication and focus more often than not. With the entire cricketing action succumbed to a stagnancy, many players are enjoying time away from the field and are having fun with their friends and family at the moment.
Rohit Sharma Expressed His Desire Of Winning A World Cup
Rohit Sharma has expressed his desire to win world cups for India as he believes a world cup win is the pinnacle of cricket. Rohit Sharma has achieved almost everything that there is to accomplish in the international cricket spectrum.

However, the Mumbaikar has been a bit unlucky when it comes to winning world cups as he has not won the world cup for India so far. India’s recent failure in the World Cup came last year when the Men in Blue were knocked out of New Zealand in the semi-final of the tournament.
