The Delhi cricket team represents the union territory of Delhi in Indian domestic cricket. The team is governed by the Delhi and District Cricket Association and plays its home games at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

The team was founded in the year 1876 and played its first first-class game in 1934 when it faced United Provinces. Throughout India's domestic cricket, Delhi has been a strong side. Only two teams - Mumbai and Karnataka - have won more Ranji Trophy titles than Delhi's seven titles.

The Delhi cricket team won its maiden Ranji Trophy title in 1978-79 phase and that victory marked the beginning of a dominating phase for them. They went on to defend the title in 1979-80 season before winning the Ranji Trophy three more times in 1980s. Delhi won its sixth title in 1991-92 season and seventh title in 2007-08 season.

Delhi has also finished runners-up in the Ranji Trophy eight times. Between 1978 and 1987, Delhi made it to the final of the Ranji Trophy in every season except one. During that phase, the team won the Ranji Trophy four times and finished runners-up four times. Delhi last qualified for the Ranji Trophy final in 2017-18 season.

It has played the Irani Trophy six times and have won on two occasions. Delhi has won the now-defunct Wills Trophy four times. They have also won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy once.
