The right-arm pacer has scalped 184 wickets in 51 Tests, 148 wickets in 79 ODIs, and 12 wickets in 12 T20Is. The 30-year-old player owns an average of 27.57 in Tests, 25.62 in ODIs, and 35.66 in T20Is. Shami’s economy rate in 50-overs cricket is 5.62 while in T20I cricket is 9.80.

Former Indian bowler Javagal Srinath gets the 3rd spot in this list with 125 bowled wickets in his career. The former Indian pacer played for the national team from 1991 to 2003. With 551 wickets in international cricket, Srinath is the 6th highest wicket-taker for India.

The right-arm pacer picked 236 wickets in 67 Tests at an average of 30.49. In ODIs, he played 229 matches and scalped 315 wickets at an average of 28.08. His economy in the ODIs stood at 4.44. Srinath also accounts for 10 five-wickets hauls in Tests and 3 in ODIs.

Zaheer Khan is the 2nd bowler in this list. The former Indian pacer bagged 142 bowled wickets during his international career. The left-arm pacer scalped 597 international wickets and is the 5th highest wicket-taker for India. He represented the national side from 2000 to 2014.

Khan picked 311 wickets in 92 Tests at an average of 32.94. He scalped 282 wickets in 200 ODIs at an average of 29.43 and 17 wickets in 17 T20I games at an average of 26.35. The former Indian pacer had an economy of 4.93 in ODIs and 7.63 in T20Is.
