Extending foreign players’ limit in playing XI in IPL 2022 is doing the rounds. Many IPL franchises have urged BCCI to extend the limit for overseas players in a match to 5 instead of 4. At present, only 4 overseas players can take part in a match in IPL. The rest of the 7 players should be domestic, which can be uncapped or capped players.

Delhi Capitals have few iconic overseas players in their squad who are also international cricketers.
