The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the annual player contracts for the Indian women’s cricket team for the 2020-21 season. The duration of this contract ranges from October 2020 to September 2021. There are 19 women players who are part of this elite list of BCCI’s annual player contracts.

There are three grades under the contracts- Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C. Players who are part of Grade A will get Rs. 50 lakh. Players who come in Grade B will get Rs. 30 lakh each. Grade C players will get Rs. 10 lakh each. There are 3 players in Grade A, 10 players in Grade B, and 6 players in Grade C. Below are the full details of players and their salaries under BCCI’s annual contracts for the Indian women’s team.

Grade C (10 Lakh)

Richa Ghosh

Richa Ghosh is part of Grade C in BCCI contracts and she will get Rs. 10 lakh. Richa Ghosh made her international debut in a T20I match against Australian women in February 2020. Ghosh is a right-handed batswoman who bats in the middle-order. So far, she has played 6 T20Is for India and scored 98 runs. In her last match against South Africa, he smashed an unbeaten 44-run knock.

Priya Punia

Priya Punia is a right-handed batswoman who made her international debut in a T20I match against New Zealand women in February 2020. In 3 T20Is so far, Punia has managed to score 9 runs. Punia has a very good record in ODIs. She has played 7 ODI matches so far scoring 225 runs. She has also smashed 2 half-centuries. Priya Punia is part of Grade C in BCCI’s contracts and will get Rs. 10 lakh.

Harleen Deol

Harleen Deol is part of Grade C in BCCI’s list and will get Rs. 10 lakh. Deol made her international debut with an ODI match against England women in February 2019, in which scored 2 runs. Deol is an attacking batswoman and part-time leg spinner. She has also played 9 T20Is so far, scoring 110 runs and picking 6 wickets. During India women’s previous T20I series against South Africa women, Deol smashed a fifty (52) in the 1st T20I in a losing cause.

Pooja Vastrakar

Pooja Vastrakar is another women player in Grade C and she will get Rs. 10 lakh. Pooja Vastrakar is an all-rounder. He has been playing in the national team since 2018. In 6 ODIs, she has scored 88 runs along with 1 fifty. In 20 T20Is so far, she has scalped 16 wickets and scored 105 runs.

Arundhati Reddy

Arundhati Reddy is a right-arm medium-fast bowler. She is another Indian player who is part of Grade C and will receive a salary of Rs. 10 lakh. She made her international debut in September 2018 with a T20I match against Sri Lanka women. Since 2018, Reddy has played 23 T20I matches in which he picked 17 wickets.

Mansi Joshi

Mansi Joshi is a right-arm medium-fast bowler. She is also part of Grade C in BCCI’s contract and will get Rs. 10 lakh. Joshi made her international debut in November 2016 with a T20I match against Bangladesh women. So far, Mansi Joshi has played 8 T20I matches in which she picked 3 wickets. She has played 14 ODIs so far and scalped 16 wickets.

Grade B (Rs. 30 Lakh)

Jemimah Rodrigues

Jemimah Rodrigues is a right-handed batswoman and occasion off-break bowler. She made her international debut in February 2018 with a T20I match against South African women. She scored an impressive knock of 37 in her first match. So far, she has played 42 T20I matches in which she has scored 976 runs with 6 half-centuries. In 19 ODIs, Jemimah Rodrigues has scored 382 runs with 3 fifties. She is part of Grade B and will get a salary of Rs. 30 lakh.

Taniya Bhatia

Taniya Bhati is a wicket-keeper batswoman. She is also part of Grade B in BCCI’s contract and will get a salary of Rs. 30 lakh. She made her international debut in a T20I match against South African women in February 2018. She has played 50 T20Is so far, scoring 166 runs in 22 innings. In 15 ODIs, he has scored 121 runs in 8 innings along with 1 fifty. She has made 44 successful stumpings in T20Is and 8 in ODIs.

Shikha Pandey

32-year-old Shikha Pandey has been part of the Indian team for a long time. She is an all-rounder who bowls medium pace and bats right-handed. Shikha Pandey is part of Grade B and will get Rs. 30 lakh. She has played 52 ODIs so far, scoring 507 runs and picking 73 wickets. In 50 T20Is, she has scored 206 runs and scalped 36 wickets.

Radha Yadav

Radha Yadav is a spin bowler who bowls with her left arm. She has an amazing record in T20Is. She has played 37 T20I so far and picked 51 wickets at an economy of 6.28. She has only played 1 ODI so far in which he remained wicketless. Radha Yadav is also part of Grade B and will get a salary of Rs. 30 lakh.

Shafali Verma

Shafali Verma made her international debut in September 2019 in a T20I match against South Africa. She is an opening batswoman. She has played 22 T20Is so far, scoring 617 runs at an average of 617. She has also smashed 3 half-centuries. She played brilliant knocks during India women’s last T20I series against South Africa. She smashed 23, 47, and 60 runs in the three T20Is. Shafali Varma is part of Grade B in BCCI’s contract and will get Rs. 30 lakh.

Rajeshwari Gayakwad

Rajeshwari Gayakwad is a left-arm spinner who has been playing for India women since 2014. In 45 ODIs, Gayakwad has picked 75 wickets at an incredible economy of 3.38. In 31 T20Is, she has picked 39 wickets at an economy of 6.2. In her only Test match so far, she picked 5 wickets. Rajeshwari Gayakwad is part of Grade B and will get Rs. 30 lakh.

Punam Raut

Punam Raut is also part of Grade B and in BCCI’s annual contracts and will get Rs. 30 lakh. She is an opening batswoman. She has played 72 ODIs so far, in which she has scored 2267 runs. In 35 T20I matches, she has scored 719 runs. Punam Raut has smacked 3 centuries and 15 half-centuries in ODIs and 4 half-centuries in T20Is.

Deepti Sharma

Deepti Sharma is an all-rounder who plays for the Indian women’s team since 2014. The left-handed batswoman has played 58 ODIs in which she smashed 1488 runs. This also comprises 10 fifties and 1 hundred. In 51 T20Is, Deepti Sharma has scored 433 runs. She has also picked 65 wickets in ODIs and 54 wickets in T20Is. Deepti Sharma is also part of Grade B and will receive a salary of Rs. 30 lakh.

Jhulan Goswami

India’s legendary woman cricketer Jhulan Goswami is part of Grade B and will get Rs. 30 lakh. She is an all-rounder and one of the best fast bowlers in international cricket. Jhulan Goswami is the highest wicket-taker in ODIs with 233 wickets in 186 matches. She has also scored 1085 runs in ODIs. In 68 T20Is, Goswami has picked 56 wickets and scored 405 runs. She retired from T20I cricket in 2018. She has also played 40 Tests in which she grabbed 40 wickets in 10 matches while scoring 283 runs.

Mithali Raj

Mithali Raj is among the greatest batswoman in Indian cricket. She is the highest run-scorer in international cricket and captain of India women team in ODIs. Before retiring from T20I cricket in September 2019, she scored 2364 runs in 89 matches (84 innings) with 17 half-centuries. In 214 ODIs so far, Mithali Raj has scored 7098 runs in 193 innings. In 10 Tests she played, she scored 663 runs out which one was a double century (214). Mithali Raj is also part of Grade B and will get Rs. 30 lakh.

Grade A (Rs. 50 lakh)

Poonam Yadav

Leg spinner Poonam Yadav is part of Grade A in BCCI’s annual contracts. She will get a salary of Rs. 50 lakh. Poonam Yadav has emerged as a spectacular bowler for Indian women in T20Is and ODIs. She has scalped 95 wickets in 68 matches. She also has a brilliant economy of 5.65. In 50 ODIs, she has scalped 72 wickets at an economy of just 3.8.

Smriti Mandhana

India’s star batswoman Smriti Mandhana is also part of Grade A in BCCI’s contracts. Mandhana is an opening batswoman for India who bats left-handed. Smriti Mandhana has played 56 ODIs so far, scoring 2172 runs with 18 half-centuries and 4 centuries. In 78 T20Is, she has scored 1782 runs and smacked 12 fifties.

Harmanpreet Kaur

Harmanpreet Kaur is Indian women’s T20I captain. She is also part of Grade A and will get Rs. 50 lakh. She is a powerful hitter who has scored 2532 runs in 104 ODIs, including 12 half-centuries and 3 centuries. In 144 T20Is, she has scored 2186 runs with 1 century and 6 fifties. As an occasional bowler, she has picked 25 wickets in T20Is and 29 wickets in T20Is.
