T20 cricket is the favorite format of cricketers in recent times. It gives them avenues to explore and improve on different aspects of the game. The likes of Andre Russell, AB De Villiers, Shahid Afridi, and David Miller are examples of players who have played in all major T20 leagues. Afridi despite retiring from international cricket is still plying his trade in franchise cricket.

The leagues are expected to only increase in the near future with the ICC scheduling one ICC event every year since 2024 in the FTP.

Gayle has also played in all major T20 cricket leagues representing a total of 29 teams playing for different teams in different franchises. Among the leagues, he has played in the IPL, PSL, BBL, BPL, CPL, and more. He has played 424 T20 games to date.

Alex Hales

Alesh Hales is another T20 specialist who travels across the world playing these franchise T20 leagues. He too like Gayle has played in all the major T20 leagues in a career that started back in 2009. He has over 8000 runs in close to 200 matches in leagues like the PSL, IPL, BPL, CPL, and even in English County cricket.

Shoaib Malik

The former Pakistan skipper is another cricketer with over 10000 runs in the format. He retired from international cricket after the 2019 World Cup but is still active in the T20 circuit. He will soon be playing in the PSL when the season resumes. He has played for over 20 teams in T20 cricket and also in the Abu Dhabi T20 League in a career that spans over 400 games.

The former South African skipper retired from international cricket in 2018. The decision came as a shock to his fans. Reports of his international comeback ahead of the T20 World Cup were also put t a rest by Cricket South Africa. He only plays T20 cricket now with regular appearances in the IPL among all the major T20 leagues.

He has played in over 300 games in his T20 career for 13 teams. He most recently joined the BBL playing for Brisbane Heat. He is inching close to 10000 runs in the format.

Andre Russell

The Windies all-rounder is only seen playing T20 cricket for his national team. When he is not with the national side he is playing T20 cricket all over the world. He has played in all major T20 leagues all across the globe. He is one of the most established names in the T20 circuit. He has played over 350 games scoring over 6000 runs and taking over 300 wickets.

David Miller

Miller is among the high-profile names in domestic T20 cricket. He is a T20 globetrotter in the truest sense of the term. In a T20 career that started way back in 2009, he has played for close to 20 teams and in all the major leagues across the globe. He is closing on 8000 T20 runs and has played 335 games. His best stint so far has been in the IPL with Kings XI Punjab.

Shahid Afridi

The former Pakistan skipper was played the most T20Is as an active international for Pakistan. He has scored over 4000 runs in the format and is in the top 10 wicket-takers list as well. He did his debut in this format way back in 2004 when the format was still in its nascent stage.

Dan Christian

The Aussie all-rounder is one of the pioneers of this format having played in all major T20 leagues across the globe. He has played 350 games and most recently returned in the IPL with Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has led many teams as well and won several championships. He has played for 19 teams overall.

Dwayne Bravo

Bravo is the highest wicket-taker in the format. He has 518 wickets and has 123 scalps more than the next best Sunil Narine with 393 wickets. He has played in 478 matches only second to Kieron Pollard who has played 541 games in the format. He has also won two T20I titles with his national team and a handful of other franchise T20 titles as well. He has played for 24 different teams.

Rashid Khan

Rasid is just 22 years of age but is a household name in franchise T20 cricket. Starting his T20 career in 2015, he has played in over 260 games and picked up 360 wickets. He is one of the most sought out cricketers in the format. He has been recently announced as the T20I skipper of his national side.

Dale Steyn

Dale Steyn rounds up the list of cricketers who have played in all major T20 leagues all across the globe. Injuries have played a part in hampering his career. Despite all his injury concerns he has played for 15 teams and has been one of the most successful bowlers in the format. He has 263 wickets in 228 games.
