The franchise continued their impeccable form of the last season and won 11 games out of 16 while losing only 5. It was Mumbai Indians’ 5th IPL title. They scored 2735 runs in the season. Ishan Kishan and Quinton de Kock were MI’s highest run-getter with 516 runs and 503 runs respectively.
IPL 2021

In IPL 2021, Mumbai Indians won 4 matches out of 7 and held the 4th spot in the points table before the tournament got suspended. In 7 matches, Mumbai Indians scored 1120 runs. Skipper Rohit Sharma was the team’s highest run-getter with 250 runs in 7 innings. Suryakumar Yadav followed Sharma on the 2nd spot with 173 runs in 7 innings.
