IPL franchises want BCCI to increase the limit of overseas players in the playing XI to 5. According to IPL rules, only 4 overseas players can play in a match and the rest 7 players should be domestic players. However, if the rule changes in IPL 2022, many teams will benefit to come up with a stronger composition of playing XI.
