The West Indies women's cricket team represents a group of Caribbean countries in international women's cricket. The team is also called Windies. The team is managed and governed by Cricket West Indies (CWI).

The West Indies women's cricket team's journey in international cricket began in the year 1976 when it played its first-ever Test against Australia. Before that in the inaugural women's World Cup in 1976, two Caribbean teams - Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago - participated separately. Both the teams are now part of the West Indies team.

They have played a total of 12 Tests so far and not one since the Karachi Test against Pakistan way back in 2004.

The West Indies women's team made its debut in ODIs in 1979 against England. They participated in the women's cricket World Cup for the first time in 1993 and finished at the sixth spot. Their best performance in the tournament came in 2013 when they qualified for the final and finished runners-up. They also qualified for the semifinal in 2022.

In T20Is, West Indies women's cricket team played its first game against Ireland in 2008. They have played in all the editions of the Women's T20 World Cup so far. Their best performance in the tournament came in 2016 when they won the trophy. They have also qualified for the semifinals on four different occasions.
